Project Recover
Christian Malerba serves as the Chief Development Officer at Project Recover, a role assumed in April 2023, where the organization aims to utilize modern technology to locate and bring home Americans missing in action since World War II. Prior to this position, Christian held two significant roles at the USO from June 2019 to April 2023, first as Senior Development Manager and then as Development Manager, focusing on Major and Planned Gifts. Between January 2011 and June 2019, Christian was the Director of Alumni Relations & Alumni Giving at Cheshire Academy. Earlier experience includes co-founding Visual World Products in January 2010, a company specializing in high-quality 3D glasses for the entertainment sector, which operated with multiple manufacturing branches and a substantial sales team. Christian's educational background includes attendance at Cheshire Academy followed by the University of Connecticut, graduating in 2008.

Project Recover
Project Recover’s vision is: (i) to repatriate every American service member who has not come home through research, searches, recoveries and other methodologies; (ii) to provide information and closure to the families of service members; (iii) to provide a platform to educate the public on the importance of service to one’s country; and (iv) to provide unique educational opportunities in the areas of science, technology, history, leadership, public service and diplomacy to a committed student audience, in conjunction with Project Recover’s mission, in order to provide a real world application to students and further educate the public.
