Terry Eddinger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in disaster response, humanitarian assistance, and military chaplaincy. Currently serving as a Disaster Assistance Response Team Member at Samaritan's Purse and a Team Member at Project Recover, Eddinger previously held a distinguished career in the US Navy Reserve as a Rear Admiral and Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserve Matters, overseeing significant chaplaincy functions. Notable roles include Humanitarian Assistance Advisor to the Military at USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, where Eddinger acted as a liaison for Foreign Disaster Assistance and taught various courses. Eddinger's academic contributions include serving as Vice President for Academics at Carolina Graduate School of Divinity, where oversight of curriculum and faculty management was performed. Eddinger's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Hebrew Language from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, along with multiple military education certificates.

Project Recover
Project Recover’s vision is: (i) to repatriate every American service member who has not come home through research, searches, recoveries and other methodologies; (ii) to provide information and closure to the families of service members; (iii) to provide a platform to educate the public on the importance of service to one’s country; and (iv) to provide unique educational opportunities in the areas of science, technology, history, leadership, public service and diplomacy to a committed student audience, in conjunction with Project Recover’s mission, in order to provide a real world application to students and further educate the public.
