Jake Davies

North Wales Ambassador / Trustee at Project Seagrass

Jake Davies is a highly skilled marine biologist and technical specialist with extensive experience in marine conservation and diving. Currently serving as the Project SIARC Technical Specialist and Wales Coordinator at the Zoological Society of London, Jake catalyzes collaboration among stakeholders to protect elasmobranch species in Wales. In addition, Jake acts as a Diving and Outdoor Ambassador for Suunto UK and works as a freelance HSE commercial diver, media diver, underwater videographer, and photographer. As a North Wales Ambassador and Trustee for Project Seagrass, Jake has contributed to seagrass mapping and health monitoring initiatives. Prior roles include assisting as a ranger for the National Trust and undertaking placements with Natural Resources Wales. With a solid educational background in marine biology from Bangor University and the University of Plymouth, Jake has also represented Wales in national and international sailing competitions.
