Shanly Suepaul

Shanly Suepaul has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. They started their career at the Ontario Medical Association as an Administrator Web Services, where they administered and developed the OMA website and collaborated with physician specialist stakeholders. After that, they joined Myplanet, where they held multiple roles including Co-Founder and Solutions Architect, Co-Founder and Senior Web Developer, and RelayRobin Full-stack Developer. They handled complex technical and project challenges, led from the front in full-stack development, DevSecOps, test automation, and Agile methodologies. They also worked at Wayfair as a Software Engineer II, delivering business-critical tools for B2B Sales teams. Most recently, they worked at Wesley Clover Services North America as a Senior Engineer, DevOps, solving complex cloud application modernization and DevSecOps challenges for organizations across Canada. They used various DSO tools in their work. They will be joining Project Solar as a Senior Software Engineer in June 2023. Overall, Shanly Suepaul has gained extensive experience in software engineering, DevOps, and project management throughout their career.

Shanly Suepaul completed their education at the University of Toronto Scarborough from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained an Hons. B. Sc. degree in Computer Science with a Software Engineering Specialty.

In addition to their degree, Shanly Suepaul has obtained various certifications in different fields. Shanly became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through The Scrum Alliance in August 2011. Later, in June 2014, they obtained the Developing in Demandware Certification from Demandware.

Shanly Suepaul also holds several certifications from Acquia. Shanly became an Acquia Certified Developer in July 2014, followed by certifications as an Acquia Certified Developer - Back end Specialist in July 2015, and an Acquia Certified Developer - Front end Specialist in August 2015. Shanly further achieved the Acquia Certified Grand Master 2015 title in August 2015.

Moreover, Shanly Suepaul holds the commercetools Certified Associate JavaScript Developer certification from commercetools, obtained in February 2020. Shanly has also completed multiple certifications from Segment, including Analytics Expert (July 2021), Implementation Expert (August 2021), and Consulting Partner Certification (September 2021).

Recently, Shanly Suepaul obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in May 2022.
