Kahaan Shah

Kahaan Shah has a diverse work experience across various organizations. In 2019, they worked as a Finance Intern at Ulta Beauty and also interned at the South-East Asia Center. At Pomona College, they served as a Mentor Program Intern, where they established connections between administration and affinity groups. Kahaan also participated in the RAISE Research Fellowship, conducting research on the impact of narratives and reporting on public opinion during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Kahaan interned as a Financial Economist at the U.S. Department of State, completing projects on changing trends in approved projects at a financial institution. Currently, they are serving as the Co-President of the Pomona College Chapter of Project Sunshine, overseeing volunteer training and organizing workshops to ensure proper protocol is followed.

Kahaan Shah completed their high school education at Northside College Preparatory High School from 2015 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma. Kahaan then pursued further education at Pomona College from 2019 to 2023, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis with a focus on Biology.
