Luzmarina Ventura

Luzmarina Ventura is a dedicated student with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in August 2024. Luzmarina has gained valuable experience through various roles, including a Community Outreach Intern at the Children's Research Center, where engagement in outreach activities and recruitment events was key. As a Research Assistant in the Burgermaster Lab at Dell Medical School, focus was placed on utilizing data and technology to address diet-related chronic diseases. Additionally, Luzmarina served on the Publicity Committee for the Liberal Arts Council, creating content for social media and representing student voices. Experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Organic Chemistry included mentoring students and providing study strategies, complemented by peer-led sessions as a volunteer at the Sanger Learning Center.
