Rida Akhlaq

Rida Akhlaq has a diverse range of work experiences. Currently, Rida is an On Call Resident Assistant at Hunter College, where they facilitate a smooth dormitory experience for over 700 residents by organizing virtual and in-person programming. They also work as a Food Pantry Assistant at the Hunter Purple Pantry, providing free food products to students. Rida is a Yalow Honors Scholar and an Undergraduate Student Senator in the CUNY Hunter College Academic Senate. They have also been awarded the Eva Kastan Grove Scholarship for Immigrant Rights.
