Daniel McLane, Esq. is currently the Principal Law Clerk at the New York State Unified Court System, where they assist a Supreme Court Justice in legal research and decision writing on civil and matrimonial matters. They previously served as a Deputy County Attorney in Nassau County, where they advised on various sensitive legal issues and engaged in litigation across multiple courts. Daniel has also held roles as an Associate Attorney in several law firms and has taught at both the New York Institute of Technology and the New York Paralegal School. In addition to their legal career, they are a Board Trustee for the Jones Fund and have been involved in the Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council since 1994, promoting arts in the community. Daniel earned their Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and has completed several certificates from Hofstra University.
