Jessica Brenes Santamaria is an experienced professional in the tourism and hospitality industry, currently serving as a Destination Expert at Projects Abroad since April 2021, following a similar tenure in the same position from April 2011 to April 2020. Throughout this time, Jessica has developed expertise in customer service, petty cash management, and logistical communication within the organization. Previous roles include Communications Officer, where responsibilities involved coordinating pre-departure functions for Projects Abroad Costa Rica, and Administrative Office Assistant, focusing on administrative duties and client acclimatization. Jessica's career also features experience as a Telephone Operator at Occidental Grand Papagayo and as a Receptionist at Hotel Sol Papagayo and Resort. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism, with an emphasis on Hotels and Restaurants, from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and has completed a Beginner II French course at Universidad de Costa Rica.
