Susan Raia

Susan Raia, RD has been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. Susan began their career in 1986 as a Clinical Dietitian at Grady Memorial Hospital, where they provided in-patient nutrition assessment/support and out-patient counseling to patients with diabetes. In 1990, they took on the role of Sales Account Manager at Elan Pharma. In 1992, they joined Nestle Clinical Nutrition as an Account Executive, where they were responsible for driving the demand and usage of adult enteral nutrition products and feeding pumps into the hospital market place. In 2004, they moved to Nestle as an Infant Nutrition Representative, where they were responsible for increasing the demand and usage of Good Start formula into competitive metro Atlanta area for both the hospital market and with community pediatricians. In 2012, they joined The Woman's Imaging Group as a Marketing Manager, where they were charged with increasing revenue to attain profitability in the start-up medical imaging center. Finally, in 2013, they joined Prolacta Bioscience as a Clinical Sales Specialist, where they targeted and executed the use of human biologics made from mother's breast milk to Level 3 neonatal intensive care units across Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Susan Raia, RD completed their Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Miami University in 1985. Susan then went on to complete a graduate internship at Emory University School of Medicine, earning 16 hours towards a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
