Christian Reed has an extensive work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. In 2004, they worked as an Industrial Engineer at Eclipse Aviation, where they gained a reputation for taking on cross-company projects. In 2007, they co-founded Concert Co-op, a social network based around live music calendars, and served as the Lead Frontend Developer. From 2011 to 2018, they owned RGB Fabrication, working with early stage companies to assist founders bring new products to market. In 2015, they joined Jive Software as a Senior Frontend Developer, leading the effort to modernize their frontend development practice. From 2011 to 2018, they also owned RGB Fabrication. In 2019, they began working as a Full Stack Software Developer at Prolaera, where they employed Agile practices, converted the codebase to TypeScript, implemented data validation with AJV, expanded test coverage with Jest, and enabled deployments via Terraform. Christian also had the opportunity to create a DynamoDb controller to implement the single-table pattern. In 2022, Prolaera was acquired by Polaris Partners and merged with their nearest competitor, LCvista.
Christian Reed obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002, followed by a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2003.
