Christopher Ashby

Christopher Ashby is an experienced professional in materials management and operations with a strong background in the transformer manufacturing industry. Currently serving as the Indirect Materials Leader at Prolec Energy since May 2020, Christopher oversees a team of Indirect Buyers and manages negotiations for indirect materials and services. Previous roles at Prolec Energy include Planning Leader, Project Manager/Senior Consultant, and Operations Control Manager, all of which involved strategic planning, ERP implementation, and operations management. Prior to joining Prolec, Christopher held positions at GE Grid Solutions as Materials Planning and Execution Manager and Buyer, and at GE as a Materials Planner and Receiver. Christopher's career began as a Quality Analyst at Adecco, where quality assurance for transformer products was a key focus. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from LSU Shreveport.
