Bhavesh Khamesra

Bhavesh Khamesra is a Senior Data Scientist at Prologis since November 2021, previously serving as a Data Scientist at The University of Texas at Austin from July 2021 to November 2021 and as a Research Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2015 to May 2021. During this time, Bhavesh contributed to relativistic hydrodynamics code development and conducted large scale numerical simulations, supervised machine learning, and statistical modeling for gravitational wave research. Additionally, Bhavesh held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing physics courses, and as a Visiting Student at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, performing Fisher Matrix analysis. Bhavesh started academic training at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg as a DAAD WISE Fellow, culminating in a PhD in Astrophysics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS-MS dual degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune.
