Sofia Brites is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in pre-clinical studies and immunology. At Prologue Medicines from November 2021 to September 2024, Sofia held the position of Senior Scientist I, previously serving as Scientist II and I in Pharmacology. Prior to that, Sofia worked at Sigilon Therapeutics, Inc. from March 2020 to October 2021 as a Principal Associate Scientist, where responsibilities included mentoring and implementing strategies for therapeutic protein delivery. Earlier roles at Sigilon Therapeutics encompassed leading studies on engineered cells for autoimmune diseases and investigating immune responses in cell therapies.
