Fiona Burns

Fiona Burns is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in teaching physics, science, and mathematics across various educational institutions. Currently serving as Förstelärare at Prolympia since August 2021, Fiona previously held teaching positions at Furulundsskolan, Internationella Engelska Skolan Jönköping, and Internationella Engelska Skolan Karlstad, among others. With a Master’s degree in Pedagogisk arbete from Linköping University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow, Fiona has demonstrated a commitment to educational excellence, recognized with a special mention in the 2009 International Teacher Awards. Additionally, Fiona holds roles as a lokal och skyddsombud for Lärares Riksförbund and has served as a mentor and form tutor throughout their career.
