Michelle Wheater is a Manager at Prolytix since July 2021, responsible for planning production schedules to meet business and customer needs while keeping the team motivated to reach targets. Previously, Michelle held positions as a Scientist, coordinating large-scale production projects and identifying new products, and as an Associate Scientist, focusing on the purification of coagulation proteins. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Vermont, where Michelle independently characterized the Karenia brevis thioredoxin reductase enzyme, and as a Peer Tutor at the University of Vermont Tutoring Center, assisting students with their studies. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont, with prior educational experiences at the University of Rochester and Monroe Community College, and completed high school at Rush Henrietta Senior High School.
