Vita Golubovskaya

Vice President of Research and Development, Business Development at ProMab Biotechnologies Inc

Vita Golubovskaya has worked in the field of cancer research since 2003. Vita began their career as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida, where they managed undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. During their time at the University of Florida, they were awarded a Susan Komen Grant for their research on FAK and p53 role in breast cancer. In 2009, they moved to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where they were an Associate Professor. During their time at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, they were awarded an STTR grant from the NCI for their research on the development of novel inhibitors of FAK in pancreatic cancer. In 2015, they moved to ProMab Biotechnologies, Inc., where they held the roles of Vice President of Research and Development, Business Development, Senior Director of Research and Development, and Director of Research Development. In their role as Director of Research Development, they developed a research platform on immunotherapy of cancer, CAR-T, monoclonal antibodies, cancer stem cells, tumor biomarkers and tumor antigens, as well as developed business collaborations and partnerships. Vita also prepared and participated in scientific meeting presentations, and led and consulted the company's research program.

Vita Golubovskaya obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) in Biochemistry from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg between 1981 and 1986. Vita then completed their Ph.D. in Cell Biology at the Institute of Cytology, St. Petersburg between 1986 and 1990. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Research from St. Jude Children's Hospital; Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center between 1994 and 2000.
