Christian Marques

Christian Marques has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Christian started their career as an Informatics Technician at Marsh & McLennan Companies, where they gained experience in IT support and teamwork. Christian then worked as a Lead Developer and Musician at Matinha - Estúdios de Som, S.A., contributing to the creation of an iOS video game. Christian later joined Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa as a Researcher, where they developed a prototype visualizer for 3D models. Christian also worked as a Back End Engineer at Amadeus, focusing on software design and implementation for payment services.

After taking a sabbatical, Christian embarked on a literary project called "Um Poema Errante / A Wandering Poem," collaborating with Angharad Hengyu Owen. This project involved a journey across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, resulting in a bilingual collection of poetry and visual art. Christian then joined PUSH :: VFX as the Chief Technology Officer and Lead Developer, contributing to visual storytelling through various mediums.

Christian Marques completed their B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Lisbon from 2003 to 2007. Christian then pursued an M.Sc in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Christian Marques obtained several certifications. These include "JSNation 2023 Attendance" and "React Summit 2023 Attendance" from GitNation in July 2023.
