Benjamin Brummel

Benjamin Brummel, PhD, is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Specialized Applications Engineering Manager and New Product Development Engineer at ProMed Molded Products since February 2020. In this role, Benjamin manages a team focused on high-precision custom defense components and develops manufacturing processes for both the defense and medical industries. Previous experience includes serving as a wrestling coach for Minneapolis Public Schools and working at the University of Minnesota from August 2013 to August 2018 as a PhD student, where Benjamin designed custom analysis software and contributed to research efforts, authoring multiple manuscripts. Benjamin holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the University of South Carolina.
