Fedor Lurie

Fedor Lurie serves as the Chair of Science for the International Union of Phlebology since September 2022 and has held various leadership roles in esteemed organizations, including Director of the IAC Vascular Interventional Board since January 2019, Voting Member of the Medicare Evidence Development & Coverage Advisory Committee since January 2016, and Director for The American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine since January 2016. Additionally, Lurie is an Adjunct Research Professor at the University of Michigan and the Associate Director of the Jobst Vascular Institute at ProMedica, positions held since December 2015 and October 2012, respectively. Previous leadership experience includes serving as President of both the American Venous Forum Foundation and the American Venous Forum, as well as being a Board of Directors member for the Society for Vascular Surgery from 2010 to 2014. With an extensive educational background that includes an MD and PhD from Ural State Medical Academy and an MSc from the Institute of Mechanics and Mathematics, Lurie specializes in medicine, cardiovascular physiology, biomechanics, and biostatistics.
