Cameron “Cam” Ayala

Cameron A. is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in deploying and managing distributed applications and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Blinkist since October 2019, Cameron has previously held roles as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at the same company. At Centrality, Cameron deployed distributed stateful applications using Python and Rust on Kubernetes and built CI and deployment pipelines with Helm, Terraform, and Jenkins. Prior experience includes leading infrastructure design at Fulcrum Hub, contributing to the ITV "Common Platform" project, and implementing CI pipelines at Xero. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
