Michael Slater

Michael Slater is a seasoned scientist with over three decades of experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Expression Group Leader at Promega Corporation since July 1992, Michael oversees a team of eight scientists, including three Ph.D. holders, focusing on research and development. Previously, Michael worked as a Senior Scientist at DNASTAR, Inc., where responsibilities included biocomputing, sequence analysis, bioinformatics, interface design, and documentation. Michael's academic background includes earning a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where studies were conducted from 1979 to 1986.
