Wally Vroman

Wally Vroman is an accomplished database administrator with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Database Administrator at Promega Corporation since June 2022, Wally previously held significant positions at American Family Insurance, Madison Gas and Electric, WPS Health Insurance, Capitol Insurance Companies, Lab Safety Supply, and Brown Shoe Company. Expertise includes SQL Server administration, VMWare migrations, and creating high-availability environments with SQL Server Availability Groups. Wally’s technical proficiency encompasses a wide range of database technologies, including SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure, as well as skills in backup recovery, performance tuning, and automation scripting with PowerShell. Wally holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Science from Lakeland College and an Associate degree in Applied Computer Science from WWTC in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
