Carlos Camilo

Carlos Camilo has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Carlos started their career as a Consultant Economist at Banco Central de la Rep. Dom. in 2000. Carlos then worked at Banco Popular Dominicano as a Senior Risk Manager from 2004 to 2006. In 2008, they joined Deutsche Bank as an Associate in Fixed Income Structuring. Carlos then moved on to Banco del Progreso in 2009, where they served as the VP of Corporate and Business Banking until 2015. Carlos then joined Banco Santa Cruz RD as a Treasurer until 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Banco Promerica de la República Dominicana.

Carlos Camilo has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, which they earned with Summa Cum Laude honors from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo. Carlos further pursued their studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they obtained a Magister degree in Macroeconomics. Continuing their academic journey, Carlos then attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and completed their MBA degree with a specialization in Finance.
