Lea Zicchino

Lea Zicchino has been Partner of Prometeia since 2015, Senior Partner since 2020. She is responsible for the Market Analysis and Financial Intermediaries Practice. Graduated in 1994 in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Siena, she obtained a Ph.D. in Political Economy from the La Sapienza University of Rome and a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from the Business School of Columbia University in New York. From 2002 to 2008 she was an economist at the Bank of England, first in the area of ​​financial stability and then in that of monetary policy, where she conducted numerous research projects and was involved in the preparation of presentations and market analyzes for the Committee of Central Bank Monetary Policy. In Prometeia since 2008, she deals with macroeconomics, finance, monetary policy, banking and the credit market.
