Ximena Alemán

Ximena Alemán is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Prometeo. Ximena was previously an advisor for communication and marketing at Jiménez de Aréchaga, Viana + Brause from February 2017 to December 2019. Jiménez de Aréchaga, Viana & Brause is one of the four largest law firms in Uruguay. Ximena's job was to design and implement an integrated marketing and communication strategy that would contribute to improving the positioning of the firm and manage their brand as a fundamental asset.

From May 2016 to March 2018, Ximena was a Cofounder at Ábaco. Ábaco is a personal finance assistant designed to provide clear and easy access to all financial information. Ábaco connects to the user's bank accounts, processes the information to provide detailed explanations of their financial behavior, so they know where and how they are spending.

Ximena has also been a teacher at Universidad ORT Uruguay from August 2015 to December 2017, and the Director of Digital Publications at EME Content Marketing from January 2013 to March 2017. Lastly, they were a Technology Journalist at El Pais Uruguay from October 2010 to June 2013.

Ximena Alemán has a Master in Business Administration from Universidad ORT, a degree in Journalism from Universidad ORT, and a degree in Accounting and Business Management from Universidad de la República.
