Greg Smallwood, MHSA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Greg is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President of PFS from July 2019 until October 2021.
Before joining PFS, Greg worked at Atlas Research from 2013 to 2019. During their time there, they held multiple roles, including Principal and Chief of Staff. In their role as Principal, they led several large-scale engagements supporting and advising the Department of Veteran Affairs on business transformation and customer experience programs. Greg also provided guidance and assessments on the realignment efforts of VA's Healthcare Administration.
Greg has also served in the US Marine Corps. Greg was a Staff Sergeant in the USMC Wounded Warrior BN from November 2011 to October 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Staff Sergeant in the USMC Reserves from July 2009 to November 2011. Greg began their military career as a Sergeant in the USMC Infantry (3/2) from July 2005 to July 2009.
Greg Smallwood, MHSA completed their education at Georgetown University and American Military University. Greg obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Health Systems Administration from Georgetown University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from American Military University from 2013 to 2016.
In addition to their degrees, Greg Smallwood also holds several certifications. Greg became a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci in September 2018. Greg obtained a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification from Georgetown University in January 2014. Also, they acquired a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2016.
