John Pettit

John Pettit has worked in the technology industry since 1995. John began their career as Manager of Retail Operations at Internet in a Mall in 1995. In 1998, they became Lead Developer and Architect at Strategic Financial Solutions, LLC, where they architected, designed, and developed multiple major releases and enhancements to PerTrac Analytics. In 2005, they joined PerTrac as CTO and Director of Product Development. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Peak Performance as Chief Information Officer. John then moved to Affinitiv Inc. as VP Strategic Accounts from 2017 to 2018, before becoming CTO at Backstop Solutions Group from 2018 to 2022. John is currently CTO at Promevo.

John Pettit obtained their MBA in Business from the University of Phoenix between 2006 and 2008. John also obtained their BSIT in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix between 2001 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Google and other institutions, including a Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning Engineer in December 2022, a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in November 2022, a Google Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader in September 2022, a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer in September 2022, a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Database Engineer in August 2022, a Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer in May 2022, a Financial Risk Manager Certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals in March 2011, and a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer - VB.Net in May 2008.
