Mariah Southers

Mariah Southers has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 when they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor for Crossings Ministries. In 2017, they were a Digital Marketing Assistant at STAR 93.3 where they edited sound bites, assisted with video production, created online blog content, managed social media, and participated in "on-location" Facebook Live events. In 2018, they held three positions, including Public Relations/Online Engagement Assistant at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Cherry Creative Writing Director at Western Kentucky University, and Digital Content/Video Production Assistant at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In this role, they created online content, directed and ran camera for daily live shows, edited videos, managed online photo database, and assisted with video production that promoted shows and other events. In 2019, they were a Contributing Writer for Hebron Living Magazine and a Software Client Success Manager at Promevo. In this role, they operated as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to Google Workspace customer accounts, worked to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, and supported the Software Sales team with upgrades and getting customers on long-term commitments. Mariah also held the role of Google Chrome Sales Representative at Promevo.

Mariah Southers obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Western Kentucky University between 2015 and 2018.
