Jaime Navas

Jaime Navas is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Vice President of Innovation, Technology, and Digital Transformation at Promigas since March 2024. With a robust background in leading digital transformations, Jaime held various roles at GeoPark from January 2020 to March 2024, including Corporate IT Director and CIO, focusing on integrating technology within the Oil and Gas sector. Prior to this, Jaime was the IT Director at Alpina, overseeing technology operations across multiple countries. Jaime's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at British American Tobacco, where roles ranged from Regional Head of IT Services for the Americas to Regional Enterprise Application Strategy Programme Manager. Jaime began a career in technology management in the banking sector at Banco Andino and Ciba-Geigy, enriching expertise in business processes and project management. Jaime holds an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and further education from the University of California, Berkeley.
