Previously, Tia Ray held the position of Supervisor of the Internal Coding Team, managing a team of 5-6 internal coders, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines. Prior experience includes working as an HCC Risk Adjust Coder at Optum and in clerical roles at Heights Chiropractic Physicians, focusing on data entry, insurance verifications, and transitioning to electronic health records. Tia Ray holds a Medical Coding Certificate from Drexel University and completed training at AAPC.
