Cpc Tia Ray

Tia Ray, CPC, currently serves as the Associate Director of Risk Adjustment Coding at Prominence Health since July 2020, where responsibilities include managing an entire department of over 10 coders, overseeing three teams, and managing seven coding projects. Tia Ray is also involved in maintaining coding training, educational guidelines, and project metrics. Previously, Tia Ray held the position of Supervisor of the Internal Coding Team, managing a team of 5-6 internal coders, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines. Prior experience includes working as an HCC Risk Adjust Coder at Optum and in clerical roles at Heights Chiropractic Physicians, focusing on data entry, insurance verifications, and transitioning to electronic health records. Tia Ray holds a Medical Coding Certificate from Drexel University and completed training at AAPC.
