Johanna held multiple roles at various companies, showcasing their expertise in performance improvement, strategy and processes, market management, practice management, claims compliance, and healthcare administration. Johanna's most recent role was as the Vice President of Performance Improvement at Prominence Health Plan, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to that, they held positions at OptumCare Nevada, UnitedHealth Group, DaVita Medical Group, HealthCare Partners, and Healthcare Partners of Nevada. Additionally, Johanna served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and interned at Dignity Health. Their career started as an Assistant Researcher at the International Center for Training and Biomedical Research. Throughout their career, Johanna has demonstrated strong leadership skills, system configuration expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of compliance, data analysis, and CMS reporting.

Johanna Martinez pursued their education with a focus on healthcare administration and microbiology. Johanna completed their Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of the Andes.
