Kamal Jemmoua has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kamal started their career as a Financial Advisor Intern at Smith Barney in 2005. Kamal then moved to SEI Investments, where they served as a Senior Accounting Analyst in the Private Equity department, managing accounting, administration, treasury functions, and performance reporting. In 2009, they joined Reliance Standard as a Senior Financial Analyst/Change Agent, responsible for managing the valuation of a $10 billion corporate investment portfolio and implementing reporting systems for key strategic metrics.
In 2013, Kamal started working for UHS, initially as a Manager of Population Health Development, and later as the Director of Health Plan Initiatives, Analytics, & ACO Development. During their time at UHS, they were involved in developing analytics, managing ACO development, and driving population health initiatives.
Since 2017, Kamal has been with Prominence Health Plan, where they have held several leadership positions. Kamal started as the COO/Executive Director of ACO Development and then became the Interim CEO, overseeing financial turnaround, growth, and expansion. Currently, Kamal serves as the Health Plan CEO, responsible for the continued growth and expansion of the company, including the development of physician-led Accountable Care Organizations and expanding Prominence Care Centers in key UHS markets.
Kamal Jemmoua's education history is comprised of two notable institutions. From 2003 to 2006, they attended LeTourneau University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Finance, along with a minor in Economics. Later, they enrolled at Villanova University and completed a Master of Science degree in Finance from 2008 to 2009.
