Christina Lopez has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to risk management, compliance, and quality management in the healthcare industry. Their most recent position is as the Corporate Director of Risk & Insurance at Promises Behavioral Health, where they develop and supports strategic objectives for effective risk management and cost containment. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Compliance and Quality Management at The Ranch-Tennessee, where they coordinated compliance activities and ensured patient safety in a residential treatment setting. Christina also has experience as the Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement at Cumberland Hall, where they promoted and performed risk management activities in a psychiatric hospital. Before that, they served as a Regional Manager for the Victim Advocate/Sexual Assault Program at Strategic Resources, Inc., and as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator at Serco, Inc/ACS Family Advocacy Program. Christina Lopez has a diverse educational background. Christina earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Furman University in 1999. Later, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Development & Leadership at Murray State University. In 2008, they began their studies at Northcentral University, focusing on Psychology. However, it is unclear if they completed a degree at this institution. Moving forward, Christina attended California Southern University from 2014 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree, specializing in Psychology. Currently, they are enrolled at Western Governors University to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management, expecting to graduate in 2023.
