Michelle Joy Stanley, MHA, RHIA, CDIP, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Michelle's early career includes roles as a Central Scheduler at Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians from May 2009 to August 2010, and as an Office Coordinator at TMI/MRI from March 2007 to March 2009.

Michelle Joy Stanley holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Kaplan University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from The University of Toledo between 2000 and 2006. Michelle also obtained a High School Diploma from Portsmouth High School from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their degrees, Michelle has obtained several certifications. Michelle Joy became a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) through the AHIMA Foundation in December 2019. Michelle Joy also obtained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from the AHIMA Foundation in March 2019. Michelle further completed the CEO-In-Training Curriculum at Acadia Healthcare in August 2020.
