Abdelwahab Bensmail, PhD, has a diverse range of work experiences. Abdelwahab Bensmail, PhD, has a strong educational background in the field of biology and molecular science. Abdelwahab began their academic journey in 1998 at IUT Lyon 1, where they pursued a Biomedical Sciences degree. After completing their University Institute of Technology Degree (DUT) in Biomedical Sciences in 2000, Abdelwahab continued their studies at Coventry University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2001.

During the same year, they also obtained a Diplôme Universitaire d'Etudes Technologiques Internationales from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, further enhancing their knowledge in the biological and biomedical sciences. Following this, Abdelwahab pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Heriot-Watt University from 2002 to 2004.

Their academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Endocrinology & Breast Cancer Biology at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. The focus of their PhD research was in the field of endocrinology and breast cancer biology.

Additionally, Abdelwahab has obtained various certifications to further enhance their professional skills. These include certifications in Professional Prospecting & Selling from Miller Heiman Group UK (Formally Achieve Global) in 2010, a University Diploma of International & Technological Studies from IUT Lyon 1 in 2001, and a French certificate for animal experimentation level 2 from IUT Lyon 1 in 2000.
