Enrique Delatorre is a Quality Line Support Engineer at Abbott since July 2022, focusing on providing Quality Engineering support to manufacturing and ensuring high-quality product delivery. Prior to this role, Enrique served as a Project Manager at UCI Samueli School of Engineering, collaborating with Ossur Americas on innovating knee surrogate devices, and held positions as a Research & Development Engineer for the Feminora project, which aims to redesign the vaginal speculum, and as an Undergraduate Researcher involved in developing a custom wheelchair headrest. Enrique also has extensive leadership experience as the Safety Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach from January 2013 to July 2022. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine, along with multiple Associate degrees from Irvine Valley College in Mathematics, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
