Joe Burchett

Joe Burchett has a range of work experience in the tech industry. Joe is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Prompt.io since April 2023. Before that, Joe worked at Skytap from June 2022 to March 2023 as a Principal Software Engineer. Joe also held the position of Software Engineering Manager from June 2021 to June 2022 at Skytap. Prior to that, Joe worked as a Principal Software Engineer from July 2020 to June 2021 and as a Tech Lead, Environment Automation from February 2019 to July 2020. Joe joined Skytap as a Sr. Software Engineer, Tools, and Infrastructure in February 2018 and continued in that role until their transition to Tech Lead. Joe started their career at Skytap in August 2015 as a Software Engineer, Tools, and Infrastructure and worked there until February 2018.

Before joining Skytap, Joe worked at DoubleDown Interactive as a Lead Developer, DevOps from May 2012 to August 2015. Joe also worked as an SDE Contractor at Amazon from June 2011 to May 2012. Joe started their career at Spiral 9 Inc as a Server Software Developer/ Team Lead in November 2009, where they worked until June 2011. Joe also briefly worked at TiVo as a Developer in 2010.

Joe Burchett attended Lewis-Clark State College from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Joe did not complete a degree at this institution. Additionally, Joe has also engaged in studying Computer Science at the University of Idaho, although the specific duration of their enrollment is unknown.
