Douglas Karlsson

Douglas Karlsson is currently a Projektingenjör at PROMT Design AB, a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at Citec Group from July 2022 to January 2024, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Etteplan from April 2021 to July 2022. Douglas began the career at Renewcell as a Processoperatör and contributed as a Teknisk Konstruktör during two separate stints with Etteplan and Academic Work in early 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Teknologie kandidatexamen in Innovation Technology and Design from Karlstad University. Noteworthy projects include a master thesis at CEVT focused on autonomous vehicle behavior and participation in Formula Student as a team member responsible for engine and suspension systems.
