Pronatura Noroeste A. C. is the regional representation of Pronatura, the oldest and largest conservation organization in Mexico. Our mandate covers the ecoregions of the Baja California Peninsula, Sonora, Sinaloa and Nayarit, the western portions of Chihuahua and Durango along the Sierra Madre Occidental, the coasts of Jalisco and Colima, the Gulf of California and its islands, and the Exclusive Economic Zone of Mexico in the Pacific Ocean, corresponding to the aforementioned states.
