George Vnoucek

George Vnoucek has worked in the software development field since 2000. George began their career at Sun Microsystems as a Software Developer. In 2001, they moved to ONCE Corporation as a Software Developer and then to Marsh as a J2EE Developer in 2002. George then worked for Sybase and The PEER Group Inc. as a Software Developer in 2002 and 2004, respectively. In 2008, they joined Aimetis as a Senior Software Developer where they architected the security framework and was responsible for client-server and inter-server communication. George also pioneered changes to the development process to improve quality and communication. In 2011, they worked for Desire2Learn as a Software Developer. In 2012, they joined WrightPlan Incorporated as a Lead Software Developer where they managed the development of the software platform. In 2019, they joined Roadmunk as a Senior Web Application Developer where they worked on the roadmapping features team. Finally, in 2020, they joined ProNavigator as a Software Development Lead and Senior Software Developer. George led a team through various feature and internal projects and established processes for increasing developer engagement.

George Vnoucek attended the University of Waterloo from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours Computer Science). In 2021, they completed the Leadership FYI program at Communitech Academy.
