Rex Ticknor

Rex Ticknor is an experienced fire investigator with a career spanning over five decades in the fire investigation field. Currently serving as a Senior Fire Investigator with ProNet Group, Inc. since March 2022, Rex holds several certifications including IAAI-CFI, NAFI-CFEI, and CVFI. Previous roles include senior positions at Complete Fire Investigation, LLC, Keystone Experts + Engineers, and NEFCO Fire Investigations. Rex's early career featured roles as an Arson Investigator with the Waller County Sheriff's Office and Friendswood Fire Marshal, along with a significant tenure at the Houston Fire Department as a Senior Captain. Rex has attained multiple associate degrees in Arson Investigation and Fire Protection Technology from Houston Community College.
