Maarten Meijers

Maarten Meijers is a seasoned education professional currently serving as Schoolleider at PROOLeiden-Leiderdorp since November 2017, alongside responsibilities as an Auditor. Meijers has a diverse background, including a tenure as Locatieleider at PROO Leiden from 2014 to 2018 and as a Stagebegeleider at Hogeschool Leiden, where the focus was on supporting new colleagues in education and research into professional development initiatives. With extensive experience in teaching and ICT coordination at Openbaar onderwijs Leiden from 1991 to 2014, Meijers has cultivated a strong foundation in educational leadership. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Integraal Leiderschap from the Nederlandse School voor Onderwijsmanagement, with additional qualifications in school leadership, management, and ICT.
