Hedia Maamar

Dr. Hédia Maamar is the Chief Scientific Officer of Proof, where she drives the scientific vision and leadership for the company. She brings 20 years of scientific research experience, including over 7 years in the molecular diagnostics industry. Dr. Maamar was the first employee at Talis Biomedical, where she demonstrated rapid career progression and helped build the company to over 100 employees. She contributed to the development of a robust pipeline of novel diagnostic tests at the point of care leading to company IPO. She was most recently Vice President, Assay Development with Talis, leading the Assay/Integration/Bioinformatics groups and functions. She led their COVID 19 Assay development and drove the company toward an EUA for SARS-CoV-2 detection on their IVD platform.
