Gabe Safford

Gabe Safford has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity and sales industry. Gabe started their career at Cision as a Business Development Associate, where they achieved notable success in generating new sales opportunities. Gabe consistently performed in the top 5 amongst a team of 75 BDRs and received accolades such as Rookie of the Quarter and BDR of the Quarter.

Following their time at Cision, Gabe joined Tenable as an Enterprise Sales Associate. In this role, they were responsible for generating new sales opportunities for the enterprise market. Their exceptional performance earned him a promotion within 10 months, and they later transitioned to the position of Territory Sales Manager. As a Territory Sales Manager, Gabe successfully acquired new clients within their assigned geographic region and consistently achieved their $1M+ quota.

Gabe then served as the Regional Channel Manager at Tenable, where they managed various partners in the Mid-Atlantic region. Gabe played a pivotal role in increasing sourced opportunities and growing the company's current install base, resulting in channel revenues exceeding $25M.

Currently, Gabe is working as a Strategic Account Director at ProofID. In this role, they collaborate with global enterprises to design, deliver, and manage modern identity security solutions. Their responsibilities include introducing new identity and access management technologies and programs or supporting and developing existing platforms and services.

Gabe Safford completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Corporate Communications, Public Relations from Ohio University. Gabe attended Ohio University from 2009 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Gabe obtained a Sales Certification from Sandler Training in 2014. In 2015, they achieved the Miller Heiman: Sales Excellence in Strategic & Conceptual Selling certification from Miller Heiman Group. Gabe became a Certified CrossFit Trainer (CCFT) through CrossFit, LLC in November 2019. Gabe obtained the Partner Advocate certification from Ping Identity in June 2021. Lastly, Gabe acquired the CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross Training Services in February 2022.
