Andy Maas is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager at Proofpoint Inc. since March 2004, Andy has led the Web Services Group in the development and operation of backend services. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at AOL Time Warner and Netscape Communication, as well as an engineering position at Portola Communication. Andy began a career as an Information Specialist at Stanford University from 1987 to 1996. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with studies at Institut Teknologi Bandung.
