Brian Jones is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data Science at Proofpoint since November 2016, Brian previously held the position of Director of Data Science at the same company. Prior to Proofpoint, Brian worked at FireEye as Technical Director and at Mandiant as Principal Research Engineer. Brian's career also includes significant contributions at Sandia National Laboratories, where Brian was a Principal Research and Development Staff and Senior Member of the Technical Staff, as well as a Research Engineer at ERICA, Inc., where Brian was also a member of the Board of Directors. Brian holds both a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, completed in 2001 and 2000, respectively.
