Cole Juracek

Cole Juracek is an experienced data scientist currently employed at Proofpoint since June 2021, where responsibilities include maintaining and developing rules-based classifiers for monitoring security and compliance violations in social media, as well as migrating multiple machine learning models to AWS SageMaker. Prior to this, Cole served as a Machine Learning Assistant at Trado Books, where pro bono work involved constructing a topic model using Gensim and spaCy. Cole has also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Proofpoint, focusing on implementing LSTM neural networks, and has held various roles in customer service and software development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Statistical Science from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colorado State University.
