David Smith

David Smith is a Senior Software Engineer at Proofpoint since October 2022. Previously, David served as a Software Engineer IV at KBRWYLE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, LLC from October 2020 to May 2022, contributing to the Advanced Air Mobility project and developing a Data Pipeline using AWS Serverless architecture. Prior to that, David was a Senior Software Engineer at Logyx, LLC from May 2015 to October 2020, where David played a key role in the development of the UAS Traffic Management system, focusing on server-side development and RESTful API design. David's earlier experience includes positions as a Content Specialist at Stanford University and as a Content and QA specialist at Edumetrics Learning. Academically, David holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from San José State University and has qualifications in Project Management, Film Production, and Economics.
