Diane Cormier

Data Scientist at ProovStation

Diane Cormier has a strong background in astrophysics and data science. Diane began their career as a student intern at Caltech IPAC in 2007. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Heidelberg, where they conducted projects on star formation and cold, dense gas properties in nearby galaxies. During their time at the university, Diane published their results in scientific journals. In 2017, they joined CEA as a Marie Curie Research Fellow and Project Manager. In this role, they were in charge of the eGALISM project, which focused on characterizing the properties of the interstellar medium to better understand star formation in galaxies. Diane's work on the project was funded by a prestigious European grant. Diane currently holds a position as a Data Scientist at ProovStation, where they utilize their expertise in data analysis and scientific research.

Diane Cormier holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Université Paris Cité, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science - MS degree at The University of Queensland from 2008 to 2009.
